Dear Friends and family,
We are three weeks away from our mission trip to Uganda and we wanted to give everyone an update.
There will be close to thirty of us going. The group will be split into three teams, Orphanage, Outreach and Medical. We will be part of the medical team, and the outreach team.
Many Ugandans died last year due to poor sanitation practices, so Brynea will be leading personal hygiene teaching and be leading the medical team during the medical clinics. James has been asked to lead the outreach team. The outreach team will be traveling throughout Uganda to villages and they will also go to two different prisons, including one for women condemned to death. In addition, they will be traveling by boat to different islands to provide relief to widows and people that are ignored by the community. James will also be performing in dramas.
As you can see we will be very busy on this trip, so we will need a lot of prayer support before and during our trip! We appreciate all of the financial and prayer assistance we have received so far, we are $2,024 away from being fully funded. This doesn’t include the airfare to NYC, immunizations, and unpaid time away from work. In order to fully fund this trip, James has taken a part-time job with BWO and Brynea has also worked for them to cover some of the money we lack, so with these additional funds we only need $624.
